The Social Shuffle is a fun online tool, that helps primary school teachers to make their classroom more social. 

Working with Dawn Amsterdam we designed 40 unique, identifiable icons to be used within a simple integrated website, optimised for digital school boards.

Each individual icon represents the seat of each child in the class. Once the children have been assigned their unique icon, the app shuffles them on the screen into a new position. 

The aim of the site is to rearrange the seating plan of a classroom, with every new shuffle, the children are sat next to a different classmate. And by the end of the year, they all know each other better.
